Overall facial surface is unpainted, with a carved raised ridge down the centre of the forehead. The mask has black arched eyebrows, pronounced nose, red lips, white painted teeth. The eyes are inlaid circular abalone shell eyes with holes drilled through their centres. The eyes are made to feel bigger by being encircled in light blue paint. The exterior perimeter of the mask is carved in a red form line pattern with blue tentacle circling the face. The tentacles have black circles that represent the suckers.
