The base of this scale is painted red with the company's logo in the centre, painted in green, black, and gold. On one end of the base, there are two trays for where the weights (2lb, 1lb, 8oz) are placed. On the opposite end is a four-pronged holder, also painted red. Currently, there is a brass container that sits on the four-pronged holder. The brass container is not original to this scale.
