Carved cedar mask depicting a face emerging from a traditional copper form (vertical rectangle with the vertical lines being slightly concave). The copper is surrounded by a braid of cedar that is tied in a knot at the top of the mask with fibres sprouting upwards. The face has been painted with a white base, with formline design painted on top in green, red, blue, black, with a small amount of yellow in the eyes. The copper portion has been painted with a shiny metallic paint to emulate a real copper, and emphasized with black lines to delineate the different sections of the copper.
