This is a small watercolour of Chatham Island and Mt. Baker in the distance from a coastline in Southern Oak Bay. In the bottom right corner is a small piece of the coastline showing rocks and a glimpse of a tree showing on the tips of the branches. The top half of the picture plane shows the snow covered Mt. Baker with Chatham Island in the water in front. The Mountain spans from one side of the image to the other. The front 3/4 of the picture plane is all ocean, the tiny piece of the coastline exempt. The palette is very limited using only white, black, grey, green and blue.
