Description
Number 5 of a series of 10 different postcards packaged in a matching envelope. The series was produced by the Field Museum of Natural History and is entitled "Anthropology Set No. 20 - 10 Cards - 20 Cents HUMAN AND ANIMAL FIGURES, NEW GUINEA" The postcard depicts two human figures, wearing masks, with otherwise somewhat crudely carved features. The figure on the left has '141102' written in white on its left foot. The figure on the right has a bird on its head and is wearing a loincloth.
