Round short basket with open top. It’s rim is decorative and comprised of two layers of ‘looped’ rims directly on top of each other – the shape resembles round waves. The exterior of the basket has multiple imbricated design elements, including repeating diamond shapes made from brown squares, repeating rectangular shapes with black squares, a band of alternating black squares around the basket near bottom – the pattern resembles a checkerboard. There is a brown and white strand of material which is woven around the base of the basket
