Description
This image depicts many figures, strewn across a blank, white background. At the bottom of the page, a person sitting on a sled, being pulled by four dogs is shown. The person appears to be holding a stick out and above the dogs. They are hooded, their face is coloured with pink, the rest of their body is white (save the grey line of the pencil.) Above this person is another person, drawn nearly the same. They are on a sled attached to three larger dogs. Beside this person (above them) is a horned animal, likely a caribou. It is drawn with orange lines. Behind the caribou is another figure, with no colour. It is a person, holding something round out in front of them. On the right side of the paper there is another hooded figure, facing the dogs and sledding people. They have a baby on their back, in their amautiq. They are holding something big and round toward the sledders. Their face and the baby's are filled in with pink. Below this person's feet is a very tiny sledder, whose sled is being pulled by one small dog. The artist’s signature sits right above the dogs of the top-most sledder, and it is written in Inuktitut syllabics.
