Description
This circular lacquer box consists of three pieces. The lid fits over most of the bottom section, leaving 2.8 cm of it exposed. An inner compartment fits inside the bottom section and has a small lip which prevents it from slipping down to the large section. The figural scenes represented may depict scenes from the Indian epic The Ramayana.
