The print portrays three men sitting in a rowing boat having a conversation. One, with his back to the viewer, appears to be speaking, listing off points on his fingers. He and the man in the bow are engaged face-to-face while the third appears to light a cigarette or play penny whistle. Each wears a hat and heavy clothing. Water and other boats can be seen in the background. The print is in black and white and is realistic in style.
