The Kneeling stool was made by 3 artists. Each artist worked on part of it, then the aspects were combined into a unified piece.

Handrails by Glen Tallio - Handrails for the kneeling stool of the chancellor's ceremonial furnishings are carved of cedar and painted with black, red and blue colours in traditional Bella Coola "Raven and Sun Legend" design.

Cushion by Roberta Louis - Cushion is woven with white and brown traditional Coast Salish motifs.

Kneeling stool by Susan A. Point - Kneeling stool is carved of wood and painted in black, red, and blue in a traditional Coast Salish spindle whorl design.
