Description
Appliqued pieces of felt are attached to an off-white felt background cut into an abstract shape that is similar to a vertical cloud. The edges of the work are finished with a triangular blanket stitch in grey. To the left and right of the piece there are two appliqued pieces of navy felt. These are cut into abstract shapes that look similar to brackets with scalloped edges on their exteriors. Between the abstract bracket shapes, there is what appears to be a person who is wading in water up to their knees and fishing with a harpoon. They wear an orange hooded jacket, with tan pants. The figure has their hood up and their back to us. The hold the harpoon as though they are about to use it. Bellow the figure are two grey fish that appear to be leaping out of the water. Around the hunter and the fish are some scattered embroidered lines in blue that give the sense of water.
