In the background there are fields seen at a distance. The horizon is tallest between the left side and the centre of the image. The sky takes up about half the image. It is darkest on the left side and lightest on the right as well as just above parts of the horizon.

The composition is made up of muted, dim colours of green, purple, blue, and grey.
