This was one of Morris' most popular designs. Large pattern repeats. Length 112.8 cm x 96.3 cm fabric woven two repeats wide. Fabric width 175.2. Pattern consists of paired peacocks and paired dragons as central design, flowers and leaves fill rest of area. Design inspired by medieval woven silks of Sicily and N. Italy (Earthly Paradise, p. 10)
