soapstone, wood
overall: 18 cm x 12.5 cm x 27 cm
A stone carving of a figure in a seated position with one leg outstretched and one leg tucked underneath. Their hands are brought together in front of torso. They wear a parka with decoration on the hem and cuffs. The figure is leaning back and their face is pointed toward the sky. The figure has a bundle of rope and possibly a stick and line used in ice fishing. Both items are made of wood that can be unattached from the figure. There is a small hole running through the figure's hands to allow for the wooden rope to be inserted.
