Three-dimensional bronze sculpture of a whale's tail with formline detail on each side. The original piece was hand carved from a solid piece of red cedar by artists Calvin Hunt (Port Rupert) and John Livingston (Victoria). The foundry patterns were made by Norm Boulet (Nanaimo) and the bronze casting by Achinback Foundry (Langford). The assemblage and finishing by Norm Boulet and Glen Nelson (Nanaimo). The metal prepping by Island Truck and Auto Collision (Nanaimo).
