Etching
n.d.
etching on paper
paper: 18 cm x 10.5 cm
Curved dark brown lines and shapes fill most of the off-white paper. Many of the lines are wide and filed with dark hatching or cross hatching. While the design is abstracted it is possible to pick out a figure that seems to be sitting at a table. They rest one arm flat on the table, while the other arm has an elbow resting on the table with the hand close to the person's face. There is a darker shape behind them which suggests a chair. What appears to be a long-stemmed glass, maybe a Champaign flute is also on the table. There are dynamic curved lines behind the figure, though it is not possible to determine what they might depict.
