A black orca with no facial features is mounted with a gold coloured piece to a white base with three short tiers, gradually becoming wider near the bottom. The orca is smooth and reflects light, as does the gold piece, which is reflective. The orca's body is curved with its highest point being the upper fin, which extends from the centre of its body.

Faue is a sculptor, typically working in wood. This piece, like others of his, was originally a wooden sculpture and was cast in bronze by the Monterey Sculpture Center.
